| Born in Hartford, Connecticut, Wayne is a graduate of Somers (CT) High School. Wayne attended Villanova University and is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Hartford with a BS degree in Administration and Finance. While attending the University of Hartford, Mr. Dolby worked as a plater at the Har-Conn Chrome Company, an aerospace/defense plating contractor in West Hartford, CT. Upon his graduation, Mr. Dolby was promoted to Production Control Manager of Har-Conn. Prior to moving to Rhode Island in 1984, Wayne spent nearly 3 years as General Manager of the former Sunbelt Plating Company in Orlando Florida. From 1984 until July of 2003, Wayne was associated with the Microfin Corporation of Providence RI. Starting as the company's Sales Manager, Wayne was promoted to a number of positions, ultimately becoming a minority shareholder and President of the Company. Microfin Corporation specialized in the overhaul and repair plating, anodizing and coating of commercial jet engine components. Mr. Dolby joined Westfield Electroplating after Microfin ceased operations. In his position as WEPCO's Sales Manager, Wayne has helped identify new business opportunities in the aerospace, defense and high-tech electronics industries. Wayne and his wife, Leslie, have 2 children; Matthew, a cadet at the U S Merchant Marine Academy, and Meagan, a sophomore at Villanova University. In his spare time Wayne enjoys gardening, traveling and salt water fishing. |
