Scope:
 This document covers the general requirements for application and inspection of chemical agent resistant coating (CARC) system used on typical military equipment. It is intended for use as a guide in selection of the appropriate materials and procedures, and as a supplement to information available in the below referenced cleaning, pretreating, and coating specifications. The guidelines, environmental restrictions, national stock numbers(NSN) for CARC and CARC-related materials, and application equipment and techniques.
